Lucy White

Trustee

My name is Lucy, and in 2024, I joined the Essex Bridleways Association as a trustee. Horses have been my passion from a very young age, and I enjoy helping people, making this an ideal role for me. My background is primarily in veterinary care; I graduated as a veterinary physiotherapist and equine body worker in 2019 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) in 2023. After ten years in the veterinary field, I am excited to take on a new role with the British Horse Society in their access department. I have always loved hacking, particularly distance rides and low-level endurance events, with Kings Forest and Euston Park being two of my favorite venues. I regularly hack out on the road, and I'm passionate about road safety. I understand the bond between horse and rider and how riding positively influences our mental and physical health. I recognize the importance of maintaining, preserving, and expanding our off-road riding network. Additionally, I am a Redwings guardian for companion pony Audrey and own a traditional cob mare named Fleur.
